EGYPT TO ACTIVELY ENGAGE EXPERTS IN EXPLORING BOSNIAN PYRAMID VALLEY
CAIRO,Egypt - The First Undersecretary of the Ministry of Culture of Egypt Anwar Ibrahim announced a more active participation of the Egyptian experts in the project of researching the Visoko pyramid valley, the “Archeological Park: Bosnian Pyramid of Sun” Foundation announced yesterday.
At a conference in Cairo, where Semir Osmanagic, the Chair of the Board of the Foundation presented the Project of Researching the Bosnian Pyramid Valley, Anwar Ibrahim emphasized the meaning of such projects for the development of friendly relations between the two countries, and announced to take a more active role in the project. He offered assistance in translating the book by Semir Osmanagic entitled “Bosnian Pyramid Valley” into Arabic.
Professor Nabil Swelim, an expert in the field of pyramid research, the triple owner of the PhD title and an author of a number of books, stated:” These incredible constructions, these monuments, were definitely a work of humans. The evidence of the existence of these pyramids are already here, and a number of other issues are now revealed. A colossal task is now placed before all of us. Explorations conducted by the Foundation is worthy of our attention and admiration”.
Alaa Eldin Shaheen, the Dean of the Cairo University Faculty of Archeology offered the Foundation the expert help of their archeologists and restoration experts.
Oleg Borisovic, the Russian Academy of Science Institute for Physics representative expressed a wish to help the Foundation with the geometric and seismic recordings at the sight of the pyramids in Bosnia.
The Egyptian Minister of Culture Farouk Hosny and the Secretary General of the High Council for Culture of Egypt Gaber Asfour were sponsors of Mr. Osmanagic’s presentation. Mr. Anwar Ibrahim and the Bosnian Ambassador to Egypt Radomir Kosic were organizers.
Apart form the Egyptian Ministry of Culture representatives and the Bosnian Embassy in Egypt, the conference was attended by the representatives of a number of embassies in Egypt, Bosnian students, archeology professors and other guests, the Foundation announced.
