VISOKO: HADZIPASIC TOURS EXCAVATION SITES
VISOKO,Bosnia – FBIH Prime Minister Ahmet Hadzipasic visited on Thursday Visoko, where he held talks with the Municipal officials about the ongoing archeological research on Visocica hill.
Hadzipasic told Fena that talks focused on the manners for linking the Zenica-Doboj Canton, Canton Sarajevo, FBiH Government and Municipality Visoko for the purpose of supporting this project.
Hadzipasic said this is only the beginning of a long-term research project.
This is the reason why it is necessary to connect two cantons with the FBiH Government, said Hadzipasic, expressing hope that the RS Government and the Bosnian Council of Ministers would also join the project later on.
With the occasion, he toured the location of the “Pyramid of the Sun”, where he viewed the excavation site together with project leader Semir Osmanagic.
Osmanagic expressed assurance that the activities of his team will in no way jeopardize the earlier research and facilities of the Bosnian royal medieval town located in the area.
