BOSNIAN LIBERAL DEMOCRATS CALLED LAJCAK TO DEFEND BOSNIA'S PRECEDENCE

TUZLA, Bosnia – The Bosnian Liberal Democratic party is of the opinion that the “staged clash” between the Bosnian council of Ministers Chairman Nikola Spiric and the ministers is only a cover up for their inactions and obstruction of the Council of Ministers’ functioning. That is why the party is calling the international community's high representative in Bosnia Miroslav Lajcak to “recognize the processes of destabilization that are being made on purpose by Bosnia's executive authorities”.

The Liberal Democrats called the international community's high representative in Bosnia to urgently take measures and steps in order for the country to “get a 4-year program of work according to which a parliamentary majority would be formed and according to which the OHR would be able to still act in accordance with the Bonn Powers, in the cases of deliberate obstructions”.

”Mr. Lajcak, you are defending a country which is over one thousand years older than its entities”, the Liberal Democrats announced

MOUTHING OFF IN BOSNIA WLL COST YOU...

SARAJEVO,Bosnia - Bosnian MPs could soon face hefty fines for talking on their cellphones or reading newspapers during parliament sessions - and for being rude to their colleagues.

The recommendations are part of the new code of conduct drafted jointly by a Bosnian parliamentary commission and Bosnia's most influential NGO, the Center of Civil Initiatives (CCI).

It would apply only to the Bosnian State Parliament.Ivica Cavar of the CCI said he expected deputies to "show responsibility to citizens" and adopt the code next month.

"Under the new code of conduct, deputies would not be allowed to talk on their phones or to each other on topics unrelated to the discussion, or work on their laptops," Cavar said.

"We also banned expressions that may offend others, or undermine parliament's dignity, or incite violence and hatred," he said.

Deputies would first get a warning, then a fine equal to half their monthly salary. As a final step, they would be "publicly denounced", Cavar said.
